Job Summary:
Works independently with general supervision, maintaining the building. Does general maintenance.
Job Functions:
Assesses maintenance problems and completes repairs without direct supervision and in a timely manner.
Prepared supplies lists and orders supplies to complete task assignments. Performs general maintenance as necessary in a timely manner, according to order of priority.
Performs repairs on building as needed. Devises original strategies for improvement of building.
Prepares materials list and orders supply of materials required to complete projects and assignments.
Familiar with tools and equipment necessary to complete projects and repairs.
Education
High School diploma
Knowledge & Skills
Requires attention to details. Skills with hand and power tools. Requires training and/or experience in carpentry. Ability to estimate project cost. General understanding of building codes and requirements.
