We offer Full-Time, Part-Time and PRN positions throughout Greenville Market! As a full-time Urgent Care team member, you will enjoy contributing two 12-hour shifts and one 9-hour shift per week and a 6-hour shift on Fridays, including weekend rotations and paid Holidays allowing yourself plenty of time for friends, family, and self-care!

Primary Function/General Purpose of Position

The Limited Scope X-ray Technician performs digital X-ray studies on patients per the orders placed by providers. The Limited Scope X-Ray Technician is a multi-skilled clinical professional who works within the scope of practice to assist in patient care under the direction of the provider.

Essential Job Functions

  • Performs provider ordered radiographic examinations for specific anatomical parts allowed by obtained licensure

  • Conducts proper patient positioning, immobilization, utilizing appropriate radiation protection

  • Determines and selects proper electronic and technical factors which safeguard the patient, x-ray tube, and equipment, and reports immediately any malfunction, necessary adjustments, or repairs of equipment to supervisor

  • Assists in medical documentation and clinical assistant duties as directed and supervised by the Provider

  • Participates in promotion of positive culture and teamwork and demonstrates excellence in care in all interactions, for both patients and internal teams

  • Maintains a safe and supportive environment by keeping the work area, exam rooms, and equipment in clean, orderly, and safe manner

  • Understands and adheres to the legal responsibilities and requirements within the role

  • Travels to other urgent care facilities if necessary or adjusting work hours to meet patient care needs as directed by the manager

  • Performs cross-functional duties as needed, including front desk duties such as registration, scheduling, answering phones, cash handling and other duties not limited to scribing, ordering of supplies

Licensing/Certification

Limited Scope Radiology Licensure in state where they are working (required)

BLS Basic Life Support, American Heart Association (preferred upon hire, required prior to independent patient care)

Education

High School Diploma or GED (required)

Work Experience

1 year of healthcare or clerical physician practice experience (preferred)

Training

EPIC Electronic Health Record (preferred)
