Location: St Francis Hospital - Downtown
Full Time - 40 Hours/Week Day Shift
Primary Function/General Purpose of Position
Responsible for receiving capital supplies and equipment . Receives all specialized and high dollar implants and supplies. Maintains key documentation and records. Designs, maintains orderliness and cleanliness of loading dock. Distributes all special/non-stock supplies directly to departments and/or offices. Performs research and resolves INR report. Maintains key documentation and records. Participates in yearly inventory count.
Essential Job Functions
Comparing purchase orders with invoices and packaging lists.
Inspecting deliveries to ensure they match order and invoice criteria.
Receiving and signing for deliveries.
Unloading deliveries from trucks.
Processing returns for incorrect or unsatisfactory items.
Organizing and storing received items in appropriate areas.
Updating inventory with received items.
Communicating with vendors regarding delays or problems.
Maintaining records of orders, delivery details, etc.

Licensing/Certification
Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record (required)
Education
High School diploma or GED (required)
Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
Work Experience
1 year experience in inventory management or supply chain function (required)
2 years in medical Supply Chain operations (preferred)
Lean, 5S, Continuous Improvement experience (required)

Working Conditions
Periods of high stress and fluctuating workloads may occur.
Long-distance or air travel as needed- not to exceed 10% travel.
General office environment.

Required to car travel to off-site locations, occasionally in adverse weather conditions.
