An employee in this position is responsible for the supervision of clinical staff, ensuring the provision of quality patient care, and for contributing to the overall successful operation of the department.
Graduate of an AMA approved school for Respiratory Care. Greater than two years’experience in adult critical care.
Supervisory experience preferred.
Current license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (CP) in South Carolina.
Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care (RRT).
Current BLS Card with ACLS certification within three months of hire.
Must demonstrate the ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined in the position description.
Should have excellent organizational, communication and leadership skills.
Successful completion of Connect Care Module IP110 (Essentials), RX210 (EMAR), IP300 (General Nursing) with a minimum score of 84%.
