Bon Secours Mercy Health Mgr Guest Services in Greenville, South Carolina

Provide management to EVS, Linen, Guest Services departments at Eastside, Cancer Center and Hospice house.

1.Coordinate and/or facilitate the Departmental orientation process for all new Guest Service employees.

2.Assist with the development and maintenance of orientation materials and skills checklists for all employees within Guest Services. Assist Department and Leadership in the development of departmental orientation programs for new employees. Conduct one-on-one training with new employees and existing personnel in coordination with Departmental leadership.

3.Plan, implement, and evaluate monthly in-service programs for each division within Guest Services in coordination with Departmental leadership. Assist in maintaining educational records for Guest Service employees. Assist Guest Service management in the development, implementation and/or evaluation of cross training and various process improvement strategies. Provide ongoing support and materials to the employee education process.

4.Serves as a ConnectCare Credentialed Trainer which includes Epic Credentialing Training as well as ongoing and developmental training as required. Serves as Healthstream Administrator for all Guest Services staff. Assigns, schedules and follows up on all Healthstream education. Attends/participates in development programs as offered by health system as both student and development contributor.

5.Provides leadership and guidance to departmental personnel. Supports and ensures compliance with departmental/hospital policies and procedures.

6.Provides input to Admin Director in development of the department’s annual budget.

7.Maintains and monitors inventory of all supplies and equipment. Ensures that quality and regulatory standards are met, completing inspections and submitting required documentation in a timely manner.

8.Interacts with patients, families and visitors providing problem resolution or environmental concerns or issues.

9.Develops and handles modifications to personnel schedules to ensure proper coverage in compliance with budgeted productivity standards. S

10.Ensures that maintenance schedules are completed for all equipment.

11.Maintains proficiency in all techniques and equipment used by Guest Services.

12.Ensures all phases of organizational operations are receiving periodic examination to determine adherence to policies and procedures. Ensures development and implementation of hospital procedures and controls in order to maintain communications and an adequate flow of information as well as maintain management control and direction for the hospital.

13.Orders, maintains and inventories stock for the Gift Shop. Proper cash handling procedures to include, daily deposits, balancing of the cash drawer before opening and/or at closing of the store or as needed.
